PCS Customer Care Pacemaker
The theme chosen for
the Sprint PCS Pacemaker Conference of 2000 was a take on the movie, Mission Impossible.
created the campaign starting with
a "secret message" card
that was distributed to the qualifying
contact center team leads and managers.
card instructed the recipient to
find the secret message on the posters
by slipping the card under the red
plastic acetate (bottom left of the
poster). The "secret" toll-free
phone number appeared.
calling, the recipient listened to
a message from the Senior Vice President
of Customer Care. The message was
a motivation pep talk which then
ended with the classic line "This message will
self-destruct in 5 seconds," followed
by 5 beeps and then an explosion.
